1977 Company founded
Company founded by Stanley Faulkner and Alan Dean. Both men had struck up a friendship whilst working previously for Cavey’s which was the then imported and main dealer for Jaguar, Alfa Romeo…… When the Cavey business closed in 1977, Stanley and Alan decied to start up their open service business beside Christchurch in Dublin… The company was named ‘Alasta’.
1979 Moved to South Lotts Road
Moved to our current location on South Lotts Road which was run by an Italian named ……………………… who would allow Italian cars through his doors.
1994 Appointed Chrysler and Jeep main dealer
Appointed Chrysler and Jeep main dealer by the OHM group. Started selling the Jeep Cherokee, before range expanded.
2000 After sales facility opens
After sales facility opened in Ringsend to allow for the addition of main service dealer status for Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Fiat Professional
2002 Moved into current after sales facility
Moved into current after sales facility across the road from showroom on South Lotts Road
2006 Showroom extended
Showroom extended to allow for 8 cars to be displayed at any one time.
2007 Appointed Alfa Romeo main dealer
Appointed Alfa Romeo main dealer by Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland
2011 Appointed Chrysler and Jeep main dealer
Appointed Chrysler and Jeep main dealer by Fiat Group Automobiles Ireland who took over the distribution of the range of products in Ireland
